Tilting head

The main feature of the “LA 500” is the tilting head. With this machine it is possible to grind circular blades with a maximum diameter of 500 mm.

  • Compared to the zero axis, the head can be tilted from -5° to +45°; 
  • The head is tilted manually by the operator using three practical screws; 
  • The tilting degree is blocked using a dowel on the vernier scale.

  • Automatic or manual grinding wheel downfeed unit with adjustable grinding wheel feed from 0.01 to 0.2 mm with automatic stop at preset height;
  • Head tilting range –5°;+45°, for grinding of circular blades, using an easy to read vernier scale.
  • Grinding wheel motor with double sense of rotation for perfect grinding of any angle.
  • Fixed or constant speed rotating mechanical chuck for level grinding operations.
  • Chain driven rotating chuck.
  • Work time controlled by timer.
