SM500 / SM800 Sanding Machine for Circular Knives and Saw Blades

The SM500 / SM800 is a sanding machine for circular knives and saw blades designed for the surface sanding and cleaning of blade bodies before re-grinding or remounting operations.

The SM500 model is suitable for bevelled circular discs and toothed saw blades, removing oxidation, resin, incrustations and thermal treatment stains from the blade body. This surface sanding process polishes the disc and brings it back to its original thickness without alterations, improving blade mounting quality during normal use or re-grinding.

The machine is also available in the SM800 version for blades up to Ø800 mm, providing greater flexibility for different industrial applications.

One of the main advantages of the SM500 / SM800 is its ease of use: the blade does not need to be clamped to the table. It only needs to be positioned on the rubber-coated rotating table, which creates the friction required to hold the blade securely during machining.
