BM400 / BM400-R – Lapping Machine for Profiled Hard-Metal Inserts

The BM400 / BM400-R is a lapping machine for profiled hard-metal inserts designed to provide precision, stability and reliable finishing performance in demanding industrial applications.

This machine is specifically developed for profiled hard-metal inserts thanks to its fixed mechanical aluminium chuck, onto which MVM applies its special high-power open-field magnetic chuck. This magnetic system is designed to hold the inserts firmly during lapping operations and provides a significantly stronger holding force than a conventional magnetic chuck.   

The BM400-R version also features a switch for shortening the carriage run and an external tank with pump supplied as standard, improving process control and operational flexibility.   

Key technical features of the BM400 / BM400-R include:
