CK 500 Circular Knife Sharpening Machine

The CK 500 is a PLC-controlled circular knife sharpening machine designed for sharpening and beveling circular knives and counter-knives with high precision and efficiency.

This automatic sharpening machine is an extremely versatile solution, designed to reduce set-up times and ensure high productivity in industrial knife sharpening operations.

The CK 500 is capable of sharpening knives made of different materials including:

        •        carbon steel

        •        stainless steel

        •        HSS (high-speed steel)

        •        solid carbide

delivering high-precision sharpening results for a wide range of industrial applications.

Machining can be performed using either cooling lubricant emulsion or neat oil, depending on specific production requirements.

Programming is simple and intuitive thanks to the PC panel with touch screen display and guided operator interface, allowing easy parameter setting and seamless machine operation.

The CK 500 can process:

        •        batches of knives with single-sided bevel and identical diameter

        •        counter-knives with the same thickness

        •        knives with double-sided bevel and centered cutting edge

If required, the machine can maintain the same diameter across the entire batch, ensuring maximum consistency and quality.

The control system displays the current consumption of the grinding spindle motor, the remaining machining time and the total duration of the automatic cycle, providing the operator with constant process monitoring.

On request, the CK 500 can be equipped with a remote assistance program, allowing rapid technical support and remote interventions to minimize downtime.
